About Cinderhall

Cinderhall is run by Jonathan Lachance, a musician in Québec.

I started making music at 14 and never stopped. Over the years I picked up a lot of instruments, and I've always loved music theory. I played in Shattered Horizon, a cover band that wrote a few originals of its own.

In 2012 I earned an ASP in business management for audio production from Centre professionnel Maurice-Barbeau. Around 2020 I started building my own tools, prototyping DAWs and music generators. In 2023 I taught myself development, and since 2025 I've been working for myself full time.

Cinderhall is where all of that comes together: MIDI packs and plugins made by a player, for people who write heavy music.
